Blogging from my phone today because first, I don't even bring home my laptop. Second, because the internet connection here is not so good. Huhu.

Alhamdulillah I've actually went through the second year of DVM! Frankly speaking the third semester is still can be tolerate, but the fourth semester always got me out of breath everyday.

Some tips and advice or the #101secondyearofDVM for adik2 yang want to have a sneak peek about the second year.. I guess?

1.Prepare your nutrition, and anatomy knowledge of your first year to enter the second year. During my time, lecturer relates a lot of new topics with anatomy and nutrition during the first year. Honestly I'm not so good with anatomy thus, need me to push harder in that subject during second year. Other prerequisite subject like physiology 1 and 2 also need to be prepare for physiology 3 during second. But as far as I remember, nutrition and anatomy was frequently asked.

2.Please bare in mind that when you are in the second year, there are quite lot of Veterinary activities which is tradition to be held every year, such as Dogathon, vet sport, vet camp etc are going to be organised by the second year student. Here you need to sacrifice some of your time for study to involve yourself with these organizing job. Good luck!

3.During second year, is the year you'll be doing a lot of dissecting. So always prepare your bag with gloves, masks, blades, and scalpels.. Sometimes there's unscheduled dissecting session from the prof. And dr. Huhu. For the Muslim, always have your samak sanitiser with you in handy form. And prepare a lot of tanah to wash your clothes!

4.During the second year the lecture schedule might be a lot of free time but it's not for you to go ioi or the mines ea.. It is when you need to do the event organizing-organize stuffs huhu. I really love my fourth semester schedule really laid back..hee.

5.This is the last one kot..during the fourth semester, it is where you'll be learning new subject such as pathology and parasitology. From my experience, I feel like it is the first time when I really need to think, talk, and write like a doctor. The feeling is different. If I knew about it from the beginning, I wish I've prepared myself with all the terms which I really had problem with.huhu. Sesal kemudian tiada berguna.. So, be prepare !

6.Doa banyak2 agar dipermudahkan sepanjang tahun dua itu. Andd don't forget to have fun.

I don't want to spoil all other surprises for the second year! You need to explore it by yourself!
And having  final exam during Ramadhan is a new experience for me. It is when I always need to remind myself not to be dragged by the exam preparation but instead need to balance with chasing a lot 'pahala'  untuk bekalan nanti. May all of our deeds and studying for finals is accepted by Him during this Ramadhan. Amiinn.
