Assalamualaikum dun ya.

I safely arrived at home sweet home to 'enjoy' my mid sem break. Together with my lovely caring assignmentss.

Before that, a great event had been done by our course, which called as Dogathon! Dogathon is an annual event for Veterinary of Medicine student of Universiti Putra Malaysia. Plus, this year we combined strength with the student of Veterinary Science from Universiti Malaysia Kelantan too! The main objective of this event is to raise fund for one of the ProKasih project which is to neuter stray cats and dogs. We want  to overcome the overpopulation problem of them, so every cat and dog can live a fulfill life. Besides,  the objective is to expose us the Vet student to various type of canines(dog) breed by one to one person. Plus we try to strengthen the bond between dog and their owner with our various games. We also able to apply our knowledge of Vet in real world instead of learning only the theory in the class.

This year theme is Battlefield: In dog we trust. This is in remembrance of dogs’ services during war and in solving crime cases for our country. They do helpful.

Our event had been officiated by Prof. Dr. Mohd Hair Bejo the Dean of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine itself together with other staffs and lecturers. Then we have energetic performance of canine from Polis Diraja Malaysia Canine Department.

So for this event I was in charged in taking photograph of dog with their owner which is at the Smart Photobooth. Come. Pose. Take a picture. Come again. And collect your photo! It is where you can treasure your memories with you lovely lifetime pet. At first it is quite complicated to control these dogs to stand still or to sit and pose. Just like I am trying to pose Elmo and Abby together, if you remember, Abby the Grey cat and my Elmo. Plus I have push the button at the very right moment to capture the perfect picture! And my booth was the most crowded booth compare to others! :D

The best feeling is to see the visitors smiled, laughed and giggled happily seeing their moments captured by me. People are satisfied, my mission to make people happy was accomplished.

However, the team spirit flourished among us was also one of the best element of the event. Eventhough we were from different years of study could work together and communicate well. Work together, stayed up late, struggled with exams, but the event was still a great success when we broke the Malaysia Record for being The Largest Canine Gathering Event with 1 216 dogs were gathered together. And of course great number of fund had been raised for ProKasih neutering project.

So, what’s our next event??

Tadaa. Minggu Penghayatan Islam Veterinar (MPIV) 2014. Also one of our annual event for Veterinary Medicine Faculty. This is where we can widen our knowledge about Veterinary in Islamic perception.  How Muslim purify(bersuci) after dealing with dogs and swine(pig)? All questions will be unlock in this programme. Come and enrich our mind with knowledge instead of talking hastily without proves and KNOWLEDGE. Non muslims are also invited to come J

Hidup memerlukan kesimbangan. Dalam berangan keindahan dunia, kejarlah akhirat. Nescaya, kedua-duanya mampu kita dapat. In shaa Allah :)

Oh ya.. bila dah event..mesti banyak orang. Bila ramai orang... mesti banyak sampah kan? Dan of course ada sampah yang berharga.. hehe.. look what I've got...
