Alhamdulillah just finished my parasitology first test. The course which I scares most actually. Alhamdulillah all praise to Him. Do our best and leave the rest to Him.
So, when I said 'change' means I am one of those sleepy head during class, and when the lecturer said 'I end the lecture here..' suddenly poof! my head up and eyes open wide. At that time, I always blame the syaitonn that hanging around my eyes and close my lids. I am active with all those organisation and extra curricular activities, those do deprive my energy and time especially during class but that shouldn't be an excuse. It's me who need to make a change. But still, I'm not taking steps to avoid myself from sleeping. Worst yet to come, I lost the precious details during class.
I realised that Focus in class and listen to every single tiny bit of lecturer words is super duper important, and depending on lecture note solely is never enough. One word left, I have to do extra extra extra effort to understand and grab the concept of that lecture.
Mama suggested me to try jogging. One fine day, I tried to jog.
I'm way too far from being a sports person. Thus, to start jogging is really hard for me. But, for the sake of my performance in class and health, I have to do it. Can you imagine a girl out of breath face stepping with smallest step just to keep on moving? huhu that's me,
So, here I share my just an ultimate beginner jogging tips and tricks
1.start with small goal and achieve it
At the very beginning, I set a goal that I must jog non stop for 10 minutes or how long you want. If not setting any goal, I probably just jog for three minutes, and the rest is just a dream. Set a goal is a must, so you have a track to do something. Set a small goal and achieve it everyday, then move to bigger one.
2.don't stop. push yourself and keep moving.
One day I told Elmo that I jealous looking at people who can jog entire college non stop at all. I wonder how they do it. Elmo told me the trick is, not to stop. Don't stop. At all. Don't stop. Because once you stop, your leg need to restart the whole metabolism (burning) process to obtain energy for your leg. All over again. And you'll feel your leg is heavier than before. But how if I really exhausted? Don't stop. But reduce your pace, reduce your step, keep on small steps but continuous. Your body will relax a bit but still burning. You'll feel your legs become lighter and you're good to go and finish the lap.
3.consistent and improve,
You don't have to jog everydayy. At the beginning, I prefer to use time as my goal. Every session I must jog for 20 minutes non stop. So, every time I jog, just jog for 20 minutes but don't stop. When I've comfortable with it, I will put myself another goal to improve myself. So, I'm improving and keep on improving.
4.determination
This is the sole key. In everything we are doing, determination is everything. Why I start jogging, because I don't want to be the sleepy in class anymore. So, get a clear target, gather your determination and go for it.
Jogging which is a start of having a small healthy habit actually helped me in various life perspective. As getting old, I realised I'm not as strong as before! It taught me to have determination, consistent, improve myself, don't give up easily and more.
But back to basic, if you don't want to jog, you can try other exercises but an act of not letting yourself sweating and exercising is actually torturing your own precious body. Believe me, when you start exercise, your body will thank you. Because you let your body release their stress, their spasm, their own natural endorphin, our body also deserve their own healthy happiness right?
Now I can open my eyes wide till the end of the class! Let's make a small spark and become a flame!
